What are the transmission specifications of the Protegé/Mazda3?
The following is a worldwide list of transmissions used in the 323/Familia/Protegé and Mazda3. Understand that a particular transmission used with a particular engine may not physically
bolt on to a different engine also using the same transmission due to bell housing and mounting differences.

Assembly identification code numbers are also listed as a courtesy in case you are looking for a used transmission. The identification code numbers are not stamped on the
transmissions themselves but are printed on a white paper labeled affixed to the side of the transmission. Sometimes this label maybe missing and you won't know exactly what it is.
