DESCRIPTION

Some vehicles may exhibit front wipers that do not wipe well in cold weather. In cold weather, the wiper rubber hardens and its shape changes. As a result, the wipers do not fit properly on the windshield.

The pressure has been increased on the new wiper arm to correct this concern.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Verify concern.

2. Replace wiper arm with new part according to Workshop Manual (section 09-19 WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).

   NOTE: Original wiper blade must be removed and re-installed onto the new part.

3. Verify repair.
