The attached form contains all items that must be performed during pre-delivery inspection. Service Managers should post this information in the appropriate area of the dealership.
NOTE: The new 1996 PDI Sheet consolidates inspections that were previously model specific.
Dealer personnel performing PDI inspections must utilize this sheet during the PDI process.
Your dealership will receive a supply of PDI Sheets on 03/12/96.
Vehicles received at the dealership after March production will have PDI sheets contained in the vehicles portfolio.
1. Inspect all items for fit, appearance and function using this sheet.
2. All items requiring repair that are not covered under PDI must be listed on a Repair Order. Refer to The Warranty Policies and Procedures Manual for warranty application.
3. After completing all inspection items, sign the Mazda CARE sticker and affix the sticker to the lower corner of the rear, passenger-side window.
4. Separate the checksheet form and place one copy in the vehicles portfolio and the other copy in the sales jacket.
