Service Managers should use these instructions in conjunction with the PreDelivery Inspection Sheet and Problem Free Inspection Sheet to inspect and evaluate predelivery inspection performance.
Interior Dirt Inspection
RAPGARD Handling
Although the vehicle interior is protected in various ways, interior parts that the driver touches during transportation always have the possibilty of being stained. Inspect the following areas regularly while the vehicle is in inventory and PDI.
Door Trim Upper Lower End (Driver's side)
Seat Belt Buckle
Sun Visor
Side Of Brake Lever
Instrument Panel
Center Console Side Surface (Drivers side)
Fuse Box Cover
Shift Lever
Scuff Plate
Remove all dirt and grease with a suitable cleaner.
NOTE:

The inspection should be done with enough lighting. If there is not enough light, dirt may be overlooked. To maintain adequate light, keep the door open during inspection.
Protective covers should always be correctly installed. If you find a break, rip, peeling, poor fit, or mis-alignment of protectors, restore them immediately.
Unless the vehicle is scheduled for display or immediate retail, do not remove the film during PDI. RAPGARD is designed to protect the vehicle from scratches, airborne fallout, and acid rain during storage periods.
Areas not protected are subject to scratches. Dealer Personnel are responsible for vehicle inspections and should pay special attention to the areas listed below.
Front and Rear Bumper
Front Scuff Plate (Driver's side)
Outer Door Handle Area (Driver's side)
If you need to remove RAPGARD during PDI, you should confirm if adhesive residue of RAPGARD has been completely removed.
Residue is difficult to see and may still exist after the film removal. To confirm complete removal, gently run your hand along the edge where the film was attached. Remove existing residue with Kerosene, Alcohol or Pre-Kleano Wax using a soft cloth.
