0001116 Dealer Repair Information

Some "F" type manual transmissions may not stay in 5th gear under       
acceleration (pops out of gear).  The machining of the 5th gear teeth   
may be out of specification which could cause the concern.  The         
production process of the gear has been changed.                        
                                                                        
Replace the 5th gear, 5th syncro, primary shaft lock nut and the spring 
pin for the shift fork.  Gears are not interchangeable between 1993 and 
1994 models.
