ENGINE HARD TO START AND CODE P0335 (CPS)

The engine may crank ok, but may be difficult to start.  A trouble code 
of P0335 (Crankshaft Position Sensor) will be stored in the PCM memory. 
                                                                        
Inspect the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) air gap .020-.059in (.5-   
1.5mm). The bracket holding the CPS may have been bent during A/C       
installation.                                                           
                                                                        
Do not replace the CPS sensor if the air gap is incorrect as per the WSM
                                                                        
(page F1-47 and F2-47), ADJUST THE AIR GAP BY BENDING THE BRACKET       
SLIGHTLY TO OBTAIN THE CORRECT GAP.
