MIL & P1523 SOON AFTER ENGINE START

The MIL illuminates soon after starting the vehicle with Diagnostic     
Trouble Code P1523. The VICS solenoid valve trouble detection program in
                                                                        
the PCM does not operate correctly when the vehicle's battery is low.   
                                                                        
Beginning with 1996 model year vehicles, the programming logic of the   
PCM has been changed to correct this concern. Customers complaining of  
this concern should have the battery recharged or replaced as per       
Service Bulletin G-002/95.
