Mil illumination with DTC P0400 stored in memory. Inspection reveals EGR
                                                                        
valve's resistance readings are out of range.                           
                                                                        
1 Verify concern                                                        
2 If resistance readings are out of range replace with same part.       
Part has been modified to correct the coil wire from pulling away from  
the terminal inside the connector housing.                              
                                                                        
Production date modification as of August 6, 1996                       
The date code is stamped on top of EGR valve adjacent to the connector  
housing.
