The instrument cluster lens cracks at bottom center.
Vendor has reported that the conditions is a result of the plastic
being dried out and loosing its elasticity; do to the use of high
alcohol content glass cleaners. When you encounter a customer with this
condition request that lens only be cleaned with a mild soap and water
solution.
Note:
On customers that have had this condition occur multiple times it may
be necessary to modify the replacement lens by removing the bottom
center mounting tab to prevent this stress crack from reoccurring if the
lens becomes dried out again.
