A squeak/clunk/knock noise can be heard from the front suspension when
driving over uneven road surface such as speed bumps.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicles repaired using
the following procedure.
1. Verify concern.
2. Replace the front stabilizer bar bushings with a new one if excessive
clearance is found. Refer to applicable Workshop Manual (section
section 02-13 FRONT STABILIZER REMOVAL/INSTALATION).
Note:
* The "A" level bushing can be identified by an Teflon sleeve that is
molded to the body of the bushing.
* Install bushings with the suspension system loaded and lube bushings
prior to assembly with a silicone paste to prevent premature wear
and/or squeaks.
3. Verify repair
