The blower motor unit can be removed without use of SST 49 B061 015.
shown in the Workshop Manaul (Section 07-40 BLOWER MOTOR REMOVAL). Use
the following procedure as a supplement to the WSM.
1. Perform steps 1-14 (except Step #7) from the WSM.
2. From driver side, hold blower motor while removing motor cover.
3. Gently push the blower motor approximately one inch toward the
passenger side. Continue holding the motor.
4. Guide blower motor down until it rests at the bottom of the
case.
5. From passenger side, rotate the fan until three (3) "set holes"
on motor line up with the case slots.
6. Pull blower motor out.
