Symptom and Conditions

Some customers in the affected SSP69 VIN range may lose their Sirius 
SAT broadcast signal after 1/2/07.                                   
                                                                     
Those customers who had an active(working)subscription before 1/2/07 
will need to have their Clarion radio re-flashed under SSP69.        
                                                                     
Customers who did NOT have an active subscription before 1/2/07, but 
are part of the affected SSP69 VIN range, will need to have their    
radios re-flashed and then contact Sirius at 1-888-539-7474 to       
reactivate their subscription.                                       
                                                                     
After the radio has been re-flashed, be sure to perform the          
following procedure:                                                 

Repair Procedure

1. Confirm all radio functions are working correctly.     
                                                                 
2. Park vehicle outside in an unobstructed area free from trees and    
   foliage.                                                            
                                                                       
3. With radio on, press the SAT button and the display will show       
   'UPDATING' for aproximately 2-5 minutes. The normal Sirius          
    broadcast will be active.                                          
                                                                       
4. If 'UPDATING' does not appear,the wrong software may have been      
   installed during the re-flash. Refer to SSP69 on MS3 for the        
   vehicle's correct software after the re-flash.                      
                                                                       
5. If 'UPDATING'still does not appear, the subscption may never have been
   active and the customer will need to contact Sirius at 1-888-539-7474
   to reactivate their subscription.
