Symptom and Conditions

Some customers may question as to why the cooling fan keeps operating  
after the ignition is turned off.                                      

Repair Procedure

This is NORMAL for DISI engine vehicles.                              
                                                                      
The cooling fan is designed to operate for another 8-10 minutes even  
after the ignition key is turned off if the vehicle is used in severe 
driving conditions such as;                                           
                                                                      
- High speed driving                                                  
- Driving for 6 minutes or more on an uphill road (more than 5 % grade)
