Symptom and Conditions

Some PCMs on some models cannot detect grounding of its TEN terminal when "GROUND" is selected after selecting "Test" on a list of PIDs in PCM Datalogger. As a result, feedback controls for ignition timing, IAC, and fuel trim are not terminated and engine adjustments cannot be made using M-MDS. 

Repair Procedure

Follow the instructions on screen when displayed state for the PID "Test" does not turn to "ON" in PCM datalogger.
