Symptom and Conditions

On certain 2010-2011MY vehicles, the steering lock mechanism was deleted
as a cost reduction.  This can be verified by looking at the ignition
cylinder ring bezel.  For vehicles without the steering lock, the bezel
will indicate "OFF" instead of "LOCK".

Repair Procedure

If a vehicle does not have the steering lock mechanism, please proceed with warranty
diagnosis and repairs accordingly.  Please do not perform unnecessary repairs.

For parts related issues, refer to the EPC for applicable part numbers
and production dates.
